Clearly it sucks to be you
Yesterday I got an email from Hilton Honors that was written entirely in Chinese. I thought it was odd. Then I got the apology email. I’ve had to write these before. Somehow, this doesn’t make it any less amusing to me.
The email:
Dear Oscar Monteforte,
Hilton HHonors® Account Number: xxxxxxxxxxx
We wanted to send you a quick apology to inform you of an erroneous email we sent on November 17, 2008. You may have received it in the Chinese character set, or as an email filled with computer code.
Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
